Rain Rain go away

We have been at the beach for about 5 days and it has rained practically none stop, if we were in our old tent this camping trip would have been a disaster, a total wash out, but now that we are nice and dry and warm in our little RV, the rain doesn't bother me as much. I never considered myself a fair weather camper but a gal can only take so much rain in a tent camping before she has reached her wits end, those days are over, I'm one happy dry girl even though it's still raining cats and dogs here at the Oregon coast I will stay put.

Beer bread

Just made beer bread in our RV it turned out quite well, considering I'm not at all a bread girl, it was the Trader Joes box kind just add beer and pour melted butter on top, yummy

The Reason For This Blog

A few months ago I was chatting with a gal I met on a face book group for nomadic mama's and had a really nice conversation with her, I was new to the group and she mentioned to me that I should write a blog so people can get to know me, so, here it is.

  This is not my first blog, it's my second, I have one that is strictly related to all things travel, if your interested in that I can direct you to it.

One thing you will notice about me right off the bat is that I live and love to cook and take photo's of what I cook. I think food is a beautiful art form. The colors the textures, I truly love it all.

Oregon coast

Spending 5 days at the Oregon coast, I do love this place, so peaceful and serene after all the tourist are gone. Even though it's rained most of the time over this Memorial Day I'm happy to be here, something about the ocean air makes me smile.

Me me me, a little about me

I'm a simple kind of girl, I love simple things, food, drink and fun, I don't really need much in this life to make me happy, a few necessities and I'm good. 

  I'm at a point in my life that I am starting to feel that less is way more, I look around and want to simplify everything I see and touch. 

  

Where to begin

So many things to say, so many things to do in this life, where does one begin? 

  I suppose the main thing is just to begin.
