Spring is here

Away

  Been away for a bit, life seems to come at you full speed if you take your eye's off of your target for one second. I will be refocusing my efforts this year to accomplish all that I have set out to do. I have a big year ahead of me, come join me on my interesting journey I promise you will not be bored.

Stranger Than Fiction

Have you ever had a week that was so weird, strange that it just left you shaking your head? That was this past week for me. I can say one thing about it, I don't ever want to repeat it. Period.

Life is a very strange thing

I just realized that when things are difficult in life that laughter is like a salve, it soothes the soul, at least for me it does. Driving down the freeway listening to comedy on the radio and found myself literally laughing out loud always makes my day a littler better.

In a Pickle

   How do some folks get themselves into a big mess and they drag their kids into it as well. The pic of the bus earlier was that of a family that had broke down on the Oregon coast and was standing on a corner asking for help. we drove by without stopping then later we saw this crazy looking bus that I wanted to take a pic of but I thought I should ask first, so I went and knocked on the bus and the door opened and there stood the girl with the baby on her back that we had saw earlier on the corner. I talked to her for a bit , super nice girl, down on their luck with engine problems and stuff. I wished her and her partner and their 3 kids well and walked away. My soul started to bother me, I told Scott wait, and I jumped out of the truck and ran back to the bus and knocked on the door...

   The young woman opened the bus door and I said I wanted to come back and give you something, she was staring at me now, I know it's not much I said and I handed her some money, and no it was not much but from the very bottom of my heart I hoped that this little bit of kindness on my part would help her little family in some way. I really wish I could have done more. I could tell she was quite surprised and moved by my coming back, she was very grateful and appreciative. Yeah I know some would call me a sucker but I never ever  regret being kind, but I often regret it when I am unkind.
  Has there ever been a time you wanted to help someone but just wasn't sure what they would do with your gift? Yeah me too, I just do it any way.
